伊勢神宮がある伊勢市駅の近くから連なる明治時代以降代々栄えた商店街のそばで賑わいを取り戻すべく、駅前からの人の流れを作る仕掛けとして伊勢初めてのワイナリーとその建物で生産されたワインの提供や地元の食材を使った飲食店等複合施設の内外装デザインです。
外壁には伊勢の街並みにも見られる伝統的なきざみ囲いを利用し、それらの建物の顔となる壁の工法には伊勢神宮にも使用されている横板を用いた木造建築の伝統工法である板倉工法を採用しました。
また、その他共用部分には伊勢近辺の伊勢和紙、伊勢型紙、伊勢木綿や伊勢漆喰等の伝統技術、素材や作家さんの作品、素材を取り入れました。
ワイナリーは建物の顔としてきざみ囲いで覆われた壁のコーナー部分を中心とし、伊勢発のワイナリーのタンクが建物の一部として見えるように配置しました。
伊勢神宮内宮・外宮廻りを代表として有名な場所がある伊勢市駅周辺ですがそれら有名な場所から少し外れた商店街には歓楽街・繁華街として地元の方々に広く知られていた過去の面影はなく人通りが少なくなってきています。
そこで伊勢近辺の良い部分をたくさんご存知の地元の方々にご協力頂き、地元の方々はもとより観光に来られた方々もここに来れば伊勢近辺のことをたくさん知ることができる場所になるよう伊勢近辺の伝統技術、素材、作品を取り入れたデザインとしました。

This is the interior and exterior design of Ise's first winery, a complex that will serve wine produced in the winery and restaurants using local ingredients, as a way to bring back bustle to the shopping district that has flourished since the Meiji era and is connected to Ise-shi Station, where Ise Jingu is located.
The exterior walls use the traditional kizami-gakoi, which can also be seen in the streets of Ise, and the construction method for the walls that form the face of the building is the Itakura method, a traditional wooden construction method using horizontal boards that is also used at Ise Jingu.
In addition, traditional techniques and materials such as Ise washi paper, Ise Katagami, Ise Momen, and Ise plaster from the Ise area, as well as works and materials by artists, are incorporated into the other common areas.
The winery is centered on the corner of the wall covered with kizami-gakoi as the face of the building, and the winery tanks from Ise are placed so that they can be seen as part of the building.
The area around Iseshi Station is home to many famous sites, including the Naiku and Geku of Ise Jingu.
However, a shopping street a little outside of these famous locations has lost much of its former glory as an entertainment and business district, and is becoming less crowded.
So, with the cooperation of locals who know a lot about the good things about the Ise area, we have incorporated traditional techniques, materials, and works from the Ise area into the design, so that it will become a place where not only locals but also tourists can learn a lot about the Ise area.
